Views in New York

There are main places to see Manhattan from above. The first is the famous Empire State Building, but be warned that you may have to wait for more than two hours. The second is the Top of the Rock observatory in the Rockefeller Center. This observatory occupies floors 67 and 70 and is open from 8:00 am until midnight. It's not cheap: $25 per person. We went at 9:00 am and there was no queue so we could spend more time at the top. When it's full of people, your time on the observation deck is limited to 20 minutes. On a clear sunny day, the views are spectacular.
