We went to eat at Max and Moritz on a recommendation from a tour guide. We were not alone because the place was full of foreigners only. I liked the old décor of this old canteen as if it was for workers in an industrial neighborhood of Berlin. The guide said that there are very few places in town where you can actually eat traditional food from Berlin, and this was supposedly one of them, a rarity. We ordered a plate of asparagus to start with, which was good but a little small size-wise. For the same price they also make flamenkueche, a type of scorched pizza that is much larger in size. We continued with beef dishes and pork in sauce, served with red cabbage and potatoes.

These were very good dishes and gives energy in the winter. The bill totaled around € 50 split by 3. Careful, as they do not accept card to pay, it is cash only.
