Medborgarplasten

Medborgarplasten is the most central part of the island of Södermalm situated in southern Stockholm. It is in line with the main streets, and this is the place where most of the shops, offices, businesses and public buildings are. Around the square there are many restaurants that come to life at night, even in winter, as the Swedes have an increasing taste for the nightlife. There are Asian, Italian, and French restaurants, among many others which offer hot chocolate and pancakes outside of regular lunch times. The place is, of course, radically different depending on whether you visit in summer or winter.
