Simon Dache Strasse

The Simon - Dach - Strasse is the great street fashion district in Friedrichshain. This old neighbourhood in the old East Berlin is now a neighbourhood of artists and bohemians where cafes and restaurants have mushroomed along the street. Some artists play music in front of the terraces, there is a bit of a field environment and it seems like a capital city. The street also has small designer shops for fashion, clothing and art galleries which open at the weekends. The cafes offer an unlimited brunch menu on the weekend, with eggs, sausage, muesli and cereals, generally until 4 or 5 pm. The terraces are very coveted by neighbourhood youth groups ve are simple and somewhat bohemian.
