Medieval Palace, Tower of London

The Tower, besides being an imposing fortress, was also a luxurious home for royalty, as seen in the Medieval Palace. This palace has furniture, curtains, carpets and other equipment of daily life. There's a replica of Edward I's bed, a small chapel for the king, throne, etc. Besides this exhibition there are small samples of fabric that can be touched so you learn about the feel of the fabrics used here.
