Mirador del Terraplén

This viewpoint is very close to the Plaza Mayor, in Calle Terraplén, which is accessible by some stairs. It faces west and from here you can see the best fruit tree fields, olive trees and vineyards, arranged in the characteristic terrace system of Arribas del Douro (the hillside terraces are protected by small stone walls). You can also see part of the town and the River Douro.
