1 review of Mt. Washburn and Dunraven Pass

The highest point in Yellowstone

The road from Mammoth reaches Roosevelt and continues to Canyon Village, passing along the highest point in Yellowstone that is accessible by car. You'll see dense forests, meadows, alpine lakes, and beautiful views of Mount Washburn (3,122 meters high). The climb winds up the slopes of Mount Washburn to the Dunraven Pass (a popular spot for bear-spotting), and down to Canyon Village through a surreal landscape of petrified forests, because of the devastating fires in recent years.
