Museum of the Battle of Lahanas

1 review of Museum of the Battle of Lahanas

Museum of the Battle of Lahanas

The museum is housed in a two-story building, which was built in the late nineteenth century. It is known as the Topsin Villa and it was here that the negotiations between the Greeks and Ottomans were held after Thessaloniki was delivered to the Greek army. All furniture in the museum are original and has been complemented by furniture army that was previously kept in storage. The room in which the Commander in Chief of Constantine spent the night still contains the original furniture.
