Nadelwehr

It was constructed in the year 1859 based on the idea developed by Poirée, linking technology and history. Between the years 2009 and 2011 the facility has been renovated to avoid flooding of the city and was improved. Today, the water level of Lake Lucerne is hand regulated by adding or removing wood blocks that hold the water in place.
