STuffed lion with legs to the side

The Archaeological Museum (Mantova) is in what was the cocoon market in Mantua. The last reconstruction was entrusted to the architect Giuseppe Piermarini in the year 1782. Unfortunately, the last 80 years have not been good for collection. You find a stuffed lion with legs to the side of it, a sign of having been destroyed or badly preserved.
