National Museum of History and Archaeology of Constance

1 review of National Museum of History and Archaeology of Constance

House of the lions

Good

This building from the late nineteenth century is a mixture of architectural styles: Romanesque and Genoese. Four columns are adorned with imposing sculptured lions. During the 1930s, its elegant salons were the headquarters of the Masonic Lodge of Constance. The museum is considered the most important in Romania.
