Navajo National Monument

One of those forgotten corners in the American West. (Monument Valley takes all visitors interested in Indian reservations.) Near a main road, which connects the city of Page to Monument Valley. The basic tour inside the park is short, so I think that should be a must, if only to rest for a few hours. Basically what you can see are the ruins of an Indian village carved into the rock. There is a gazebo (less than half an hour walk) with stunning views across the cliffs, a cave and inside the village.
