On ne peut pas rater l'opéra de Copenhague, visible depuis Nyhavn jusqu'à la statue de la petite sirène, il fait face à la longue promenade le long des quais. Le bâtiment est massif, imposant et fut dessiné par Henning Larsen, un architecte Danois qui a dédié sa réalisation à la reine Margaret II du Danemark, en 2005. Magnifique bâtisse, alors pourquoi aller jusqu'à Sydney ?

Grace à sa position, on peut se faire déposer en bateau, malgré les controverses qu'a suscité le désign du batiment, je dois avouer que je suis plutôt séduit, et que l'intérieur est pour moi tout autant à la hauteur.

L’immeuble a été donné au gouvernement par l’entreprise Maersk, créant une polémique car ces dons sont déductibles des impôts, ce qui revient a forcer l’état a construire un opéra. L’immeuble est situé a Copenhague de l’autre coté du port par rapport au palais d’Amalienborg, aligné avec l’église de marbre. Tu peux y aller en bateau pour voir une oeuvre classique et rentrer a nouveau au centre par les eaux. Le théâtre royal danois administre l’opéra, qui peut recevoir 1700 personnes dans la salle principale. Il y a aussi un petit théâtre expérimental. Le théâtre est l’oeuvre de l’architecte Henning Larsen.
