Perfect for Bird Watching
This is a small inn with French owners located in a wonderful place, Guariquen, which is reached from Campano or El Pilar in carts (there are taxis available). It is on the edge of a lake and can accommodate up to 18 people in its 6 rooms. It is a perfect place for bird watching, especially the ibis, and there are several waterfalls in the area, plus a natural asphalt lake. It is on the Paria peninsula, the most easterly point of Venezuela.
