Road to Foltea

When we left, we were going up a dirt road high in the mountains. We thought that was the way to the Foltea Monastery, UNESCO World Heritage, since all the way had little chapels Foltea indicated, as a kind of penance before entering the monastery. Actually it was the other way around and we never found the monastery but continued towards Poiana Soarelui, meaning sunny meadow. When we arrived there, we thought it was the monastery because the field is cultivated (on a high desert plateau) and had a lot of wooden sculptures, here in the middle of nowhere. We caught an amazing view while coming down through the towns, and continued in the direction of Jina, 30km over dirt.
