Roman Road Bridge

1 review of Roman Road Bridge

Roman Road Bridge

The French-speaking walkway bridge the Pastures, also known as Barefoot Bridge, is the start of the very same in the Madrid side. It is the most visible part of the Roman road that links Miacum to Segovia. It dates from the first century AD under the emperor Vespasian even though it was greatly transformed due to the major reforms over it made by Philip V in 1722. I recommend it to you not only for its beauty and well preservation, but because you have to go through it to access most of the routes in the area.
