1 review of Saint John's

Color and movement

Excellent

The capital of Antigua and Barbuda is a lively town and somehow, by the standards of the rest of the island, even chaotic. It has buildings of many different colors and palm trees, but the credit definetly goes to the turquoise waters of the pier. I'd never seen a port with so many colors! The main attractions, mostly shopping, are located on High Street, St. Mary Street, and close to the pier and Heritage Quai, the only shopping mall on the island. Near the small pier, there are lots of busy, colorful clothing stores. It's impossible not to notice the dramatically curvy mannequins in the windows, echoing a shape found all over the island.
