Where the locals shop
The local market of Saint Pierre is next to the Place Bertin, on the Malecon. It's a metal frame building with all kinds of food, like exotic fruits, freshly caught fish from local fishermen, vegetables, spices, pulses, and spirits. It's not normally visited by tourists, since it's where the locals shop, but Saturday morning is especially lively. There are outposts around the building.
