Charming streets
There´s always those places that you randomly stumble upon and that end up surprising you. This is what happened to me with San Andrés and Sauces. We stopped to eat (incredibly well, I might add), and went for a quick walk through the streets that lead towards the sea afterwards.
It was a marvelous way to digest the food after stuffing ourselves full. The houses are all well painted and each one seems to feature a different color, which gives the neighborhood a lot of character. Maybe that´s what I found so charming, I´m not exactly sure. But it´s perfect for a stroll, going down to the water and enjoying the views.
For some reason, I was attracted to a rose-colored house on the corner of the curve along the road, which beautifully contrasted with the blue sea.
Some of the other activities this town has is the descending path from the banana plantations that you can take, right along the highway. You can also go swimming in the Charco Azul, when the weather cooperates.
