Saint John Church

Saint John Church is in the plaza that shares the same name. It is an old church with a beautiful, sculpted bell tower. This is the place where Napoleon Bonaparte assisted in the destruction of the old bell tower, since religion was banned during the French Revolution. Back then, there was a small mechanism that would ring the bells. It has since been replaced with a Provencal style bell tower.
