The Shalimar Restaurant is in the Saint Jean square, right in front of the small church. It is a place that offers Indian cuisine, with a tandoor oven, the traditional oven for roasting meat and fish, and for preparing fresh bread. The meat is halal, and the cuisines represented include Bengal, Rajastan, and Kashmir. All the dishes have spices, but they're not overly hot; you can choose the level that best suits you. You can eat well for 15 euros a head.
