Amazing Pictures

This 11th century castle is right next to the Hermitage, and although it was recently renovated, all that remains is the Watchtower. The rest is in ruins, but strong platforms have been put into place and the existing walls were reinforced. The view from the top is impressive, with a 360º view to admire the land and the sea. Of its most unique places is the broken wall pretending to be a window overlooking the beach and from which you can take amazing pictures worth framing.

A Mandatory Excursion in Blanes

This town is so small that a must visit activity is climbing to the Castell de Sant Joan. The view is spectacular, with the fresh breeze and worthwhile sunset. You can easily get there by car (little parking lot above).

Castell de Sant Joan

The Castell de Sant Joan , located in the Punta de Frenals, dates from the eleventh century and was listed as a Cultural Site in 1949. Now, there are only the foundations of the main tower, the eastern wall and some remains of the south side.
