Blanes is a place that I like quite a lot. So much so that I went there 3 years in a row. One reason I like it is because it's a city in Spain that's always pleasant and warm. The landscapes and places there are very nice. These photos were taken in Blanes, which as you can see, is beautiful. You won't be disappointed.
This 11th century castle is right next to the Hermitage, and although it was recently renovated, all that remains is the Watchtower. The rest is in ruins, but strong platforms have been put into place and the existing walls were reinforced. The view from the top is impressive, with a 360º view to admire the land and the sea. Of its most unique places is the broken wall pretending to be a window overlooking the beach and from which you can take amazing pictures worth framing.
Blanes is a town in the province of Girona, Spain. To get there you catch the Renfe commuter train in Plaza Catalunya. The route goes along the coast for almost an hour and a half. Once you're in Blanes you can catch a bus to get to the center of town because the station's a little bit far from the center of the city. Now that you're on the seafront of Sa Palomera, you'll see a big rock in front of the water that juts out into the sea, and the old fishermen's houses. It separates Blanes Bay and is considered to be the place where the Costa Brava starts. This place was used for many years as a natural harbor. It gets its name from a type of chord, the columbarium, which was used to drag the fishermen's boats to the beach. You can visit Sa Palomera and make the climb up to the lookout point at the top. From there you can enjoy magnificent views of village, the Tordera Delta and the Cape of Tossa.
The cliff on Blanes Beach gives you a magnificent view of the botanical gardens of Blanes. In the gardens we saw a lot of species of plants and flowers from across the world. In the gardens you can also see the seagulls as they fly low over our heads. There's also a pond that has diverse aquatic flowers.
Blanes is a coastal town in LA COSTA BRAVA, one of the most beautiful places in Catalunya. It has a great ambience and offers you relaxation. If you are looking for the opposite, sunrises from the cove, sunsets from the castle, the international fireworks competition, are just a few of the many things you have to see in Blanes. It's well-located and is definitely worth a visit.
Nature has a remarkable ability to accompany, with precision, the most enjoyable times of our lives. Although we are often too engrossed in our activities, if we looked around, we would see an insurmountable landscape unfold before us. Only if you bring along the beloved camera will you have a witness, though limited, of the beauty that breathes our beloved nature.
I went with a friend ve has spent years studying photography with the intention of photographing scenery. The place had details, like round stones, creating very accomplished effects with exposure times of 3-4 seconds. Finally we had a sky too flashy (a difficult thing at this time of year in the Costa Brava) so I decided to try a slightly more dramatic frame to the photo, which interestingly many people would liken to a landscape from the Lord of the Rings. We used: Canon EOS 30D + Canon 17-85mm lens, circular polarizing filter, neutral gray gradient filter, cable release and tripod. If you want to go, be careful where you leave the car as there have been cases of attempted robbery, it is advisable that you are with other people, for example, with a friend or two.
This weekend, we took my son bowling for his birthday. We went to Blanes, just 15 minutes from home and it was great. On other occasions we had gone to the Bowling Centre, but this one has an inflatable area and playground, where they have space to organize events for the kids. It's on one of the main avenues in Blanes, with outdoor parking out back. The restaurant has a bar and tables, beside a billiards and snooker table, as well as bowling lanes. Everything is computarized, from the shoe rental to the score cards. You just enter the names and you're ready to go. My son was allowed to use the bumpers so the ball wouldn't go into the bumper. He really enjoyed that. Above, there are ball pits and padded mazes. The are also picnic tables nearby for the kids and one for adults to sit at while the kids are jumping and running around. It's a suitable place for fun.
Come and try their handmade products, like cupcakes, cookies, and fondant cakes. You can buy the materials needed to them yourself at home, plus you can learn new techniques and tools in their workshops. If you want to unwind and spend time in the sweetest corner in Blanes, then DAMALENAS is your place.
