Hi, I'm from Malaga and I recently spent a few days in Girona where I had a wonderful time. We started in Palamos and then we moved down the coast but my memory is terrible and I can't remember the names of the places. Still, it was a great experience.
This is a place of natural interest belonging to the municipality of Palamos. We toured part of this area by bike and enjoyed the natural surroundings of meadows and forests on the way to the beach. Once at the beach, we left the bikes and walked along the walkways to savor the Costa Brava at its most tranquil. There are some old buildings remaining that remind us of the true spirit of the area.
Cala is in Costa Brava, between Palamos and Calella. It's quite difficult to access, it takes around 30 minutes at a slow pace. However the beach is lovely and is very hot. A great place to practice snorkeling, with lots of fish and clear water. Better than many Caribbean beaches.
Walking many kilometers along the shoreline for hours may seem tiresome, monotonous, perhaps somewhat bland if not for the intoxicating beauty of the coastline of the Costa Brava, with its Penya segats, recs, coves and beaches - enjoy the beauty that nature has provided.
The Fishing Museum. Palamos is a town whose main trade (apart from tourism) is fishing. As you near the lighthouse at night, you can glimpse the lights of the fishing boats that are near the coast and, if you want to know more about the subject, you need only take a walk to the fishing museum, located at the end of the beach. Admission is € 3 and it is open until 19:00. As well as its permanent exhibits, the museum has temporary exhibitions (always related to fishing in the region and the work of fishermen). The museum shop is at the entrance and nearby, we found the fish market (C / Moll Pesquer s / n; 972 314 437)
You can watch as the sun hides behind a long horizon. The water is like a breath of cold air, a light breeze on a summer afternoon. The pink sky mixed with different shades of orange and blue is reflected in the calm sea. These are the sunsets in Palamos.
It is one of the most precious areas of Gerona. The Cap Gros area, within the municipality of Palamos, has magnificent walks in the heart of the beautiful Costa Brava. Sun and sea and green pine forest.
This go-kart track (www.Kartingpalamos.Com) is not very well signposted from the road but has great parking and also has a playground for smaller children. It also has an adult and child track and one for the kids to ride safely. We had a great time here! I recommend it!!!!
