Santa Anna Hermitage

The chapel of Santa Anna is located on a small promontory at the entrance of the town of Breda, in the region of La Selva, Girona. The ascent is by a dirt road. The chapel has a single nave with a small detached building on the northern side and a belfry. Although its origins date back to the sixteenth century, the current building is from the late eighteenth century. The chapel is only open twice a year: For the festival of St. Anne (July 26) and on September 11, National Day of Catalonia.
