Sir Edmund Hilarry Alpine Centre

On Mount Cook, is the village where you can see the museum that has the tribute to Sir Edmund Hillarry, the first person to reach the summit of Everest. It is a small museum, but very nice, the price to enter varies depending on if you want to enter the movie theater. The museum has a large collection of photos of Hillary and some books and several videos of his expeditions and life, a must for those who love adventure, travel and the mountain.
