This site is at the top of the cliff that protects Nazere and you can get up there in two ways, either walking along a road with a considerable slope with spectacular views, or a funicular train from Nazare. This funicular is very cheap and rises 110 meters in altitude. It's undoubtedly the most impressive site with incredible views over the town of Nazere and the Atlantic Ocean. It's stunning, especially at sunset or sunrise and there are several bars at the top from which you can watch the scenery while enjoying a beer or a soft drink. There's also the Church of Nossa Senhora de Nazaré. It's a 17th century building with two bell towers and 18th century Baroque tiles inside.
