In the Trevi district

This church was mentioned in writings from the tenth century and a renovation after the Middle Ages gave it one of the most impressive Baroque Roman facades of the era. Its present appearance is due to a major renovation program and it's near Quirinale Palace, formerly the residence of popes and now presidential palace. Construction began during the reign of Paul V and ended with Urban VIII. The church is in the Trevi district, near the fountain of the same name (the most famous in Rome) and is therefore slightly passed over.
