Authentic ramen
Terakawa Ramen at 9th Avenue and 57st. is a great place to try authentic ramen. The menu is small and has about eight different noodle dishes, a couple of rice dishes, and some Chinese dumplings. It's a small place with seating for 11 or 12 people but you can also get it to go. Prices range from $8-12.00 per ramen, but they are giant so it's worth it. It's an unusual and totally authentic place. Oh, and you can only pay in cash and they really only accepts small bills.
