Column of the Holy Trinity in Olomouc

This place was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the year 2000. It is 50 meters high and is situated in Horni Square, in the historic center of the city. It is a baroque column built in 1740 at the end of a plague epidemic. It is decorated with religious sculptures from Central Europe. In size and richness of its sculptural decoration, Olomouc column is unique in the world. It's really awesome.
