The Viewpoint of Benidorm

70 reviews of The Viewpoint of Benidorm

A Benidorm icon

If you were to think of the most representative tourist spots in Benidorm, you'd think of the boardwalks on the beach, but the Benidorm lookout point would probably be the most representative of all. It’s in the old quarters, after going through the gate, at the Balcony of the Mediterranean.

It’s an old fortress located on the great rock that separates the two beaches, and was once used as a watch tower to look out for possible pirate attacks. Today, its white ruins and viewpoint have become the classic image of the town of Benidorm.

Standing in the middle of the sea

This precious viewpoint in Benidorm has some spectacular views. Since I found out about this place, I haven’t stopped coming here to enjoy it with my own eyes, despite the fact that I live in Alicante. Every time I come to Benidorm, this viewpoint is at the top of my list.

Beautiful

The views from this viewpoint are beautiful. You can see all of Levante and Poniente, and the front of Beniform island. It’s a truly special place. Just head down the stairs to enjoy the same views from sea level.

Gorgeous views

The views are pretty and spectacular, and equally as impressive at night when the Beniform’s night life heats up, with all the stores open. You can take some really impressive pictures of the two beaches from the viewpoint.
