Trade Square

Commerce Square is in the upper quarter of the city. It's a small square, formed simply where several streets converge: La Rua Marques de Pombal, Av General Alves Pedrosa (access to the city from 222-Resende) and Almacave Rua. The buildings surrounding the square have typical Portuguese facades with decorative tiles, multiple windows and glass galleries. Commerce Square has pedestrian access to the Old Town through narrow pedestrian streets leading to the walled enclosure and the Castle.
