Turnagain Arm National Heritage Area

1 review of Turnagain Arm National Heritage Area

Easily accessible

Cook Inlet is an inlet of the sea that stretches for more than 200 km. Its final section is divided into two arms, Knik Arm and Turnagain Arm, which surround the Alaskan capital. The Turnagain Arm in particular is easily visitable, as one of the most scenic roads in North America runs its northern shore. A number of viewpoints allow us to stop along the way and admire the breathtaking scenery.
