Villa Cimbrone Gardens

The Amalfi Coast is a privileged area, one of those places in the world that seems to have been touched by a singular grace: it has a mild climate, wonderful light, charming villages which cling to the cliffs. Ravello is certainly one of the stops on this trail, and the Villa Cimbrone is the very best that you can see there. The whole town of Ravello is perched high on a hill (100 meters high), but this town is fortunate to be positioned on the coast and from the town the views of the Bay of Salerno are absolutely amazing. Especially from the so-called infinite Belvedere, a veranda which hangs over the cliff, and is flanked by statues.
