Lavaux Vineyards

A few km from the exit of Lausanne are the Vaud vineyards. They are next to Lake Lehman and have been declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Here, the landscape is stunning, and strolling through this environment is one of the most pleasant experiences that you can have on a trip to Switzerland. The vineyards are arranged on terraces and are on a slope. The towns around the vineyard are beautiful, the wine culture has permeated the personality of them. Despite not being known for their wines, Swiss wines are actually of a much better quality than you may expect. Worth a try.
