Stunning traditional architecture
A little bit outside the town, on the road to Herne Bay, Whitstable Castle shouldn't be missed. It stands on the beautiful Tower Hill, and dates back to the eighteenth century, with stunning traditional architecture. It was being renovated when we visited, scheduled to reopen to the public in early 2010. We especially enjoyed the surrounding gardens and the view from the top of the hill across the bay.
