Oldest Castellers troupe in Tarragona
This group of Castellers (Castilleros in Spanish) is the oldest in the city. They regularly hold practice sessions to prepare for both the local festivities and the Castellers competitions throughout Catalonia.
It’s really an impressive sight to see these human pyramids and the control and precision they have, not to mention the trust they must have in one another. They got as high up as nine stories, each person on top of the other.
