Yewdale Hotel

The Waterhead Hotel is one of the best places to stay in the "Lake District", in the Coniston area. It is also one of the most famous places to visit for a drink, because as is common in these parts, it has a lovely beer garden which is packed in summer. Rooms are beautifully maintained, clean, with a very English feel ... very much in keeping with the pub. But as often happens in this area, once spring comes, the prices rise significantly, which makes many people think twice about whether to stay or just spend the day. The site is very central, rural and charming ... highly recommended, but it does depend on your budget.
