A decent restaurant
I visited this restaurant in Basel, after many recommendations from friends. The food is classically Swiss, and the decor is reminiscent of French breweries in the early twentieth century. The clientele is very international, so the waiters speak several languages, and the menu is available in a number of translations. As for the dishes - I must admit, I was expecting something much worse (sorry, Swiss friends!). Portions are generous, the meat is well-cooked, and most surprisingly, the prices are low. I recommend the rosti, the local potato pancake. Try it - you can count the number of good restaurants
