This is one of the most famous Italian restaurants in Gramado. There are so many options, all homemade. Cold antipasti, poultry, a number of meat dishes ... everything is very good. The environment is typical of southern Italy, with a lot of wood and hanging flags. A great option for those who want to experience Italian food in town.
This is more than just a pizzeria - it has become an attraction, thanks to its Caribbean theme. The decor is impeccable, and everything is very creative; the waiters are dressed as pirates and offer great service, and there's a park for the children to play, complete with pirate ship. But what about the pizza? Delicious! Arrive early, as it's popular. For me, the only downside is that you can't take photos inside.
This restaurant is very good, with tasty food at low prices! It's open every day from 11h30 to 14h30, as they only offer lunch. It's just five blocks away from the Church of San Pedro. They serve a buffet with a real home cooking style, salads, grilled foods, and delicious desserts. The restaurant is large and clean, with easy parking nearby.
After walking through the streets of the city or going shopping downtown, you'll be feeling ready to sit and enjoy a coffee or a beer. The Clericot is strategically located in the city centre, and has beautiful decor with coffee beans, wheat, and barley. We went in the summer, so we just wanted to order a cold beer (Eisenbahn US $ 7.50), accompanied by Bock sausage with mustard, garlic, and olives ($ 20.00) . Everything was very good and quiet.
This restaurant/cafe is right on the corner of the Clock Church. At lunchtime they have a really delicious offering of rice, beans, chips, fried eggs, meat, and a mixed salad. They also have a delicious buffet of homemade food. There are snacks in the evening for dinner (sandwiches etc), as well as bigger portions and cakes. The bacon salad is delicious, and absolutely huge - you could easily share it with another person.
The Kingdom of Chocolate is a mixture of a chocolate museum, a park, a cafe, and a chocolate shop. You must pay a small fee of R$5.00 to enter, and you'll receive some chocolates at the store. You travel through a time tunnel, where the history of chocolate is told, and you can enjoy drinks, cakes, and pastries while sitting in a room with large windows, overlooking Mount Belvedere.
Going here and not having an ice cream is almost a heresy! The city has a strong Italian influence, and this is where you can find the best gelato. There are a variety of hot dishes, including baked polenta and pasta. There's a lot of delicious food, something that will please every palate. A pitcher of drink is well-priced. Super delicious! One of the best dining experiences in the city!
If you're on a diet, then you'll have to forget about it if you come here - the chocolate is the main attraction here! The Casa de Velha Bruxa (Witch House) sells the best chocolate in the city. On a hot day, there's no better option than ice cream, served with delicious chocolate, so rich that you'll feel yourself getting fat as you look at the picture! The hot chocolate is perfect when the weather's cold.
In a region where cold comes as a tourist attraction, eating chocolate is even more of a pleasure! There are several shops and chocolate factories across the city, and this is one of the most popular. It is a beautiful store, decorated extensively, with many, many types of chocolate - white, milk, dark, truffles, coffee, bars, big and small boxes ... so many options! So delicious, it's hard to choose what you're going to have.
Here's a restaurant/bar which is quite simple, with a variety of snacks such as hot sandwiches. But they also serve meals like chicken, fish or pork chops. We tried the fish, rice, beans, salad and chips, and it was all good.
This is a good spot for lunch, with a well-ventilated area with large windows and low prices. Just two blocks away from the bustling centre of the town. At lunchtime, the restaurant serves a buffet meal with a selection of different meats, salads, pastas, hot dishes and desserts. They offer sandwiches and snacks, savoury and sweet cakes, and an a la carte menu in the evening. Plus, they have live music.
This restaurant and snack bar has a great location, affordable prices, and delicious food. There are plenty of different sandwiches on offer, including salads and other fillings, hot dogs, sausages, chicken, as well as appetisers, soups, and menus. We tried the capeletti soup, which was very tasty.
Inside the store you can see how chocolate is made, and how the different flavours are created and added. There are different prices for different chocolates - some per unit, others per kg. The shop is where you can find some really good value chocolate!
This is a very divine gastropub in the center of Gramado, right next to the Palais des Festivals, the street is completely covered, near the Church of San Pedro and Plaza Major Nicoletti. It is in a very sophisticated place, with all the decor in black and white, you can have a beer on the terrace while enjoying the city, or have a meal prepared by the chefs to the sound of live music. It specializes in contemporary cuisine, offering a wide variety, and from hamburgers in fondues to seafood.
