The Spice Route
(1)
It's magically decorated in an amazing thai style. the service is very good, I recommend the tasting menu which is 150 euros for two people and you can try tons of dishes. They ask if you want it less spicy but thai cuisine is very spicy and taking it away would be unauthentic. It's one of the best restaurants in the world. It's located in the Imperial Hotel, one of the best hotels in India, and is well worth a tour of their impressive facilities .... I recommend you view gala and if they do it according to their customs, you'll feel more integrated into the stunning luxury hotel ....

Chor Bizarre
You'll have to excuse me, but I don't know the real name, only the translation. The guide told us that the name comes from the fact that everything inside the restaurant was robbed. The truth is it was a very interesting restaurant in the heart of Old Delhi and our first experience with Indian food. It really IS that spicy, but very good :o).

Tempting Restaurant
A tempting restaurant, our best dining experience during the three days we spent in Delhi. The food is good, plentiful, and cheap - we couldn't finish all of it, but everything was well-cooked, and not too spicy. The waiters were very nice, and we spent just over 10 euros for two.

Everest Kitchen
It is located on a street full of all kinds of products at an excellent price. There is a restaurant on the highest point of the road, from where you can overlook everything. We went to a small hotel "mequetref" and found good food at incredible prices.

Orient Express

This is a unique place to have dinner since it's an exact replica of the famous orient express with a exquisite menu and distinguished service. It's a fancy restaurant, in fact on the ground floor was a man proposing to his girlfriend. Neither was dressed up, just casual and normally dressed. The waiters come armed with cameras and in fact they gave us two photos as a parting gift. The silverware and glassware are exact copies of those used in the Orient Express. There are large cups for water, wine, and champagne (which we ordered.) At the end, the chef came to our table and asked us if we liked it. A fancy dinner was naturally expensive but worth it for the atmosphere, the service of the staff and the delicious dishes. I just want to clarify that this restaurant is the best one in the Taj Palace Delhi Hotel. After a day full of the surprises of mysterious India and exhausted after our first contact with chaotic Delhi, this restaurant was a haven of peace and a treat not only for the palate but for the other senses as well.

Wongdhen House Restaurant
The Wongdhen House is undoubtedly the most touristic place in Majnu-ka-Tila, probably because it's the only place cited in the Lonely Planet guide. It has a good quality / price ratio for Delhi, this wasn't necessarily our favorite place so far. Despite not sleeping there, we ate at the restaurant. In this sense, the place is highly recommended.

Starbucks
The Starbucks is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen! It is divine and everything is tasty. I had a special coffee, it was ideal! But as in all of India, beware of the pepper ;)

The Art of Beering
Sweltering heat, a busy shopping day .. and as if by magic, before our eyes a giant cold pitcher of beer appears on the door of this brewery opposite Connaught Place. The Art Brewery has a wide selection of bottled beers from around the world, but also on tap. It has those well-known from India and Nepal, and served at the "ash point" which is when the beer reaches the point of coldness before freezing. To accompany the beer there are traditional global snacks, such as spicy Indian dishes or sandwiches. Prices are a little more expensive than is customary in India, but you'll get no surprise since entering the public you see that there are executives and young people having a beer while taking advantage of the free brewery wifi Brewery, with the latest smartphones on the market.

Rooftop Karen Cafe
Located on the terrace of the hotel Godwin, on Arakashan Road in Pahar Ganj, the Delhi 'backpacker district', this restaurant has a good value-price ratio, with Hindi and European food. The service is very slow, although that is very common in India, the kitchen and its several chefs are visible from the terrace, but there's still time to take a nap between courses. Besides the typical Thali lentils, there are vegetarian dishes with tofu, and salad with cashews and nuts. The drinks are expensive, and its almost impossible to get a cold beer, however it is a good choice if you want a quiet location in the busy Pahar Ganj.

Indian Grill

Located in the district of Pahar Ganj in one of the streets with a high concentration of hotels backpackers there, you will find this restaurant on the roof of Hotel Godwin Deluxe, and next to the Hotel Grand Godwin, the two hotels I usually stay in Delhi for their location, service and cleanliness, and above all, I recommend to any traveler for the quality-price ratio. The restaurant has live cooking viewed from your table, the menu is small, but you can order any dish you like if they have the ingredients to please you. The roof is very nice both for lunch and dinner, the service is professional and very attentive. While you wait, you can enjoy a snack with beer.

Olive Bar & Kitchen

Even when I travel I prefer to taste the local food of the country, and after several days eating rice and chicken curry it hurt my stomach, because I'm used to Mediterranean food. This is one of the finest restaurants in Delhi. The food is excellent and well presented and the service is good and friendly atmosphere. It's ideal for a dinner with friends. I recommend going to dinner and getting a table in the courtyard (if the Delhi heat allows).
