Green House Coffeeshop

This is one of the most iconic coffeeshops in the city of Amsterdam. It is very psychedelic.

Brouwerij 't IJ

One of the moments that I enjoyed most on the trip to Amsterdam wasn't the Anne Frank Museum or the legendary Red Light District. Instead, it was this hidden but charming spot: the Brouwerij't brewery. It took us almost all the afternoon to find it, but it was definitely worth it. It's a picturesque spot, located right next to the Gooyer Windmill, the only survivor of the five that once operated in the Plantage area. This is an authentic brewery, located in the site of former public baths. We were told that it's the only one in the city that makes its own beer. We tasted three different varieties - they had many more on offer - and they were delicious. Very different to the ones we have in Spain: full-bodied and intensely flavoured, but refreshing. As well as the beer, they serve excellent Dutch cheese and delicious local sausages. But the best thing about it is the environment: crude, simple tables where you can sit with strangers and have a great time getting to know each other.

Satellite Sportscafé

This is the best place for people who want to spend little and eat a lot. Here were the best pork ribs that I´ve ever tasted and you can repeat as many times as you want. It´s worth it to go. I don´t know if anyone would repeat the ribs but at least I would end up eating there everyday. Don´t forget to have a drink at the pub on the side called Bulldog Palace to digest the food you just ate. Enjoy!

Wok to Walk
(3)
I define Wok to Walk as ¨healthy food, fast and good¨because that is what it is. It´s asian food that´s great and leaves you wanting to eat more, but many times it doesn´t let you continue. I love it for the variety of supplements that you can add to your noodles, still I remember that when I went I put in sesame seeds, bambu, chicken meat and Teriyaki sauce. It was delicious and I wished there was a Wok to Walk in Gran Canaria.

La Place Kalverstraat
In the heart of Amsterdam, this restaurant offers great food at reasonable prices. Try to avoid it during peak hours as it's always very full. This will delight the most demanding palates.
Restaurants in Amsterdam
Brasserie Harkema
The place is very large and when we went it was empty. The quality of the food was very good, as was the service. There is a single menu. We ordered three croque madammes and delicious red tuna dish with salad and chips. The desserts were more average but still very good and homemade too.

Tujuh Maret
(3)
Besides Indonesia itself, the other place where you can eat great Indonesian food is the Netherlands, due to the legacy of colonialism and the East India Company. In Amsterdam there are many Indonesian restaurants but one of the best, no doubt, is the Tujuh Maret, where you can taste the typical "Rijsttafel", a rice table with 22 bowls of vegetables, meat and chicken with varying degrees of spice. An adaptation of the great Indonesian food to suit the appetite of the Dutch settlers. Of course you have to be hungry!

Winkel van Sinkel

This is one of the most well-known places in Utrecht. It's in the center of the city and catches your attention from the outside. Interestingly, when it was built it was the first "mall" area. Now it's a popular restaurant that doubles as a nightclub on Friday nights and Saturdays. It has two terraces, one facing front channels and another in a more intimate courtyard. It also has rooms for meetings, conferences, dinners, etc.. with spectacular views of the city. This is definitely one of my most recommended places in Utrecht whether to eat or just a drink.

Café Olivier Restaurant

Olivier Café Restaurant a recommended place in Utrecht for both drinks and dinner. The property, which is also a Belgian brewery, is built on an old church so this already makes it special. The extensive wine and beer from different origins of diverse types accompanies a large Belgian food menu, but dishes and influences from France, Holland and Germany.

Beershop

If you are going to go walking in Holland, and the idea is to have a beer while not paying crazy prices for them, then this is the place to visit. Holders of an incredible number of brands and varieties, with purchase over € 10 give us a bottle opener. Your eyes will not believe what they see, in my case, fervent lover of beer, I didn't know what to try at first.
Restaurants in The Hague
Millers Restaurant
The Millers restaurant is situated in the center of the city in the nightlife district. It is an area with many terraces and bars. Actually, at 11pm, this restaurant stops serving meals and only serves drinks. There is a "lounge" with a dance floor to the bottom of the main hall. The food is quite varied and very well prepared. The service is great and the decor is modern and stylish. There is no doubt about it, this is a great place for dinner and a few drinks after, without having to venture to a privileged area of The Hague.

The Harbour Club Restaurant
Overlooking the marina in The Hague/Scheveningen the Seafood Restaurant is located and quality prime steaks. Great attention,a medium-high price range. Desserts to stop your diet for a day. Highly recommended, it has a terrace overlooking the harbor and watching sunset there is an extra that is priceless.
Restaurants in The Hague
Scally Wags
(1)
We stumbled upon this place one rainy day walking through The Hague. It is situated in Chinatown and its owner is an ardent admirer of Princess Diana of Wales ... and the royal family in general. You can not miss the decor of this little "tea room" where you can eat all kinds of toast, scrambled eggs, salads ... and the best thing of all... the wonderful homemade pies. There are at least a dozen oil paintings of the Portrait of Lady Di, accompanied by English flags, British souvenirs, hearts of Jesus and candles. Good food at an unbeatable price (12 euros per person).

Juni Restaurant
(1)
The restaurant is in the pulse of The Hague, on a street close to the center. It is a lovely place that specializes in homemade lunches, all natural. Sandwiches, pies, salads. It also has a small terrace in front of the complex that does everything to make it a delight to eat there on sunny days. A good place to eat or recharge your batteries.
Restaurants in Rotterdam
Engels GrandCafé Restaurant
(2)
Engels is one of those places you have to visit if you have the opportunity to be passing through the Dutch city of Rotterdam. For starters, it is a classic place, with over 50 years of history and, secondly, inside they combine the historical past with the present of modern cuisine. They even have a Spanish restaurant on the ground floor. But then also, if you go in summer, you will find a rooftop terrace where you can enjoy your food with wonderful views, with a lovely panoramic view of the city of Erasmus.
Restaurants in Rotterdam
Bazar
(2)
Rotterdam is a very cosmopolitan city. This restaurant serves exotic North African or Middle Eastern cuisine. The décor lamps deserve special attention. It's a place frequented by locals. The restaurant, which is also a hotel, is located on the street of Withstraat Witte, known for its art galleries, designer shops and festival held in August, which combines the sale of beer and art with lights and lanterns.
Restaurants in Zaandam
Krokodil de Krommenie Restaurant
The Krokodil restaurant has been in business for over 50 years. Krommenie has just over 10,000 inhabitants and only five or six places that can qualify as bars or restaurants so the "Krokodil" is very popular here and in neighboring Assendelft. The menu and decor are a mix between Dutch and Spanish. The former dominates as the wooden furniture and overall atmosphere is "typically Dutch" but the pictures of bulls and other objects give a Hispanic flavour too.
Restaurants in Amsterdam
Grand Café Het Paleis
Within the grounds of Amsterdam Airport, we found this luxurious establishment where, whenever you have the time, you can enjoy a snack or a coffee. Unfortunately we didn't have the time to stop for a drink, but it's highly recommended. The images speak for themselves. We found the lush entrance a little intimidating at first, but the interior is very relaxing, perfect if you're feeling stressed about travelling.
