Strolling through Cascais I found a local House of Wonders that has it all - store, a cozy sitting room decorated with the shop's wares, and, if you keep going, a fantastic terrace. The rooftop chill out area is very colourful and cared for. A cute site!
On our bike route Betic Atlantic 2011, while passing through the Praia do Guincho for a swim before staying at the Hotel Muchaxo, we discovered O Faroleiro, the restaurant which is situated just 500m away. We went to dinner to taste some of their dishes. While we were eating, we saw a beautiful sunset over the Atlantic. It is very up to date in all respects, has several mentions in the Michelin guide in 2010 and 2011. The value for money is good, with an average price per person of about 40€.
We were in one of the tourist areas of Cascais, but wanted to go to a restaurant that wasn't typically touristy. Well, we found Casa Velha, actually it was for tourists but was very welcoming. We ordered the seafood 55 € prepared for two people, it was 100% seafood and the flavor was very good.
Portuguese origin ice cream parlour that has a tremendous track record that not only will enrich you the walls but as well, a unique taste of ice cream, both unmistakable and wonderful! Ice cream fans will surely like this! There are 3 shops, Cascais, Estoril, and Lisbon Rua do Carmo. WONDERFUL!!
Next to the Maritime Museum, you can eat a variety of fresh fish for lunch or supper at a really good price and outside the tourist area. Let the staff recommend your meal. For meat lovers, you can also enjoy this restaurant. I recommend the steer costeleta.
Next to City Hall is a small street that leads directly to the Dom Pedro I in Becos two Invalides. A small, nice restaurant. Good price. All good and friendly service. Very important fact: ithe restaurant closes at 15:00. Menu € 7.50

This is an awesome fish and seafood restaurant. The cost is €22 per person, with drinks and bread costing extra. You can eat all the seafood you can imagine. Reservation recommended. Perfect treatment, and beautiful views.
We found this restaurant by chance, wandering around Cascais. Totally recommended, you can eat inside or on the terrace with 3 tables and in an alley, which makes it special. Pretty good food, and affordable prices.
The chef, Ljubomir Stanisic, invites you to taste his creations: the scallop, seared, browned on the outside and warmed inside, surrounded by a leek foam, adorned with micro-vegetables and enriched with truffle dumpling or laminated duck breast pieces of foie gras and scented with madeira wine reduction, among other special creative delights invented by the chef.
Restaurant in a XVII century fortress that's been converted into a stylish Chateaux with lovely views of the sea and the beaches of Guincho. Inside it's decorated with high-level details making it luxurious.
