Restaurant O Transmontano is a spacious but cozy home in the center of the village and is one of the few that offers a variety of meat and fish dishes. The cuisine is traditional and regional and the one dish that cannot be missed is the "flagship" cod, the house specialty at "transmontano". Though, other especially local meat dishes like the Vellums served with potatoes and turnip greens and tasty boar with chestnuts are also a real treat. As for the desserts there are a variety of cakes and great mountain cheese that I recommend. Very good prices.
