Do not hesitate to come here because, if Alcalá has a tradition of tapas, "Indalo" is the best of all of them, as it has maintained quality and a reasonable price. Scrambled eggs with sausage, squid, etc. with more than acceptable wines. Recommended.
This restaurant is located right in the heart of old Alcalá de Henares. A local policewoman recommended it to us. She said, 'If you want to eat well and cheaply "The Antolin" is the best site that you can go to. It was such a great tip! The menu price was 12 € and we got to choose from 4 courses for the first plate, 4 for second, dessert, coffee, and all great. Highly recommended.
Alcala de Henares is a town well known for its tapas. This place is located right in the main part of the city, and it's a tavern where you can enjoy tapas at a single price of 2.25 euros. The first 15 days of the month 20 different tapas are offered to customers, and the other days they offer 15 tapas, which include a beer and a good skewer tortilla, squid, chorizo in cider, etc ... This inn also has a restaurant on the top floor, where you can eat a set menu for 10 euros (choice of four starters and four seconds, with bread and dessert or coffee). There is lots of atmoshpere, especially on weekends for appetizers, because with a few tapas with your beer, you've eaten.
This tapas bar is on the main street of Alcala de Henares, and it offers very big tapas portions or small snacks along with drinks for about 3 €. With 2 or 3 of these snacks and a drink, you will be more than full for lunch or dinner. Besides, they have some quick dishes on the menu, but their specialty is tapas, which they really insist that we order with our drink. The bar has several tables in the street, and the service is quite fast. A good place for tapas in Alcalá de Henares.
If I liked anything about this practically new place, it is its decor. Inspired by the 50's, you can try a bubble gum flavored milkshake, which is like entering a time warp or John Travolta film like "Grease". The decoration is colorful and cheerful with cool stools and tables. Their is no food waste. For starters, the price: Hot Dog + soda or coffee 2.50 + € 2 delicious pancakes. From the cheapest I've seen. There are also delicious muffins for gourmands, pancakes and delicious cakes. So, you know. If you visit Alcalá de Henares, one of the most beautiful cities of Madrid, take a break in Buddy Holly.
The Market Restaurant combines in one place all the things that the client looks for in the Mediterranean: - Quality - Service - and Price. Its in a great location in the market - ideal for holding events, presentations or business meetings. Now, in addition, it has several special menus that are perfect for eating after work between Tuesday and Friday, at a very affordable price.
This pastry shop is directly opposite the Cervantes theater in this town that has no many delicious pastry shops. I recommend the "costrada", a kind of strudel pastry stuffed with meringue and cream sold in square portions, another specialty is donuts Alcala. Of course, these pastries are not suitable for diets.
Best in Alcala de Henares. Value for money: very good. Homemade meals with premium ingredients, you almost eat better than at home. The menu is amazing, everything is great. Innovative, but all excellent. I recommend the truffle potato foam (not on the menu) be sure to ask, beans with sausage ... The latest I've tried are Chinese noodles (awesome). They recommended what they have that day. Service very good and professional.
It is a restaurant in a great location, near the old Church of the Capuchin convent, which was built in 1618. From the primitive Convent School that remains today there is only the church, one of the most beautiful baroque buildings in the city, recently restored and open to the public as a Castilian restaurant. Magnificent roasted asparagus with coarse salt, egg, or pork tenderloin, and a great dessert.
We were spending a few days in Alcala and ate at this restaurant that we liked the look of before we entered. The treatment of the owner who was chatting with us, was great, very friendly. There is a wide variety of tapas on offer, glancing at the menu we were spoiled for choice between servings, meals, budget menu ... As well as the good tapas we decided to eat the carne a la piedra, spectacular! Very rich! A great place.
In the beginning this place was the very best in Alcalá. But then it all went to his head and prices were raised and quality was lowered. Other bars in the same style offer many better options for example: The Spanish, for example, in one of the streets off the Cisneros Univerdidad to the Plaza de Cervantes, next to Post Office. Olé Tapas and also far exceeds the Rusty.
Economic Asian restaurant where you can taste up to 60 different dishes at the buffet, daily. Weekdays the buffet price from mid-day is 7, 50 € and weekends € 12.50 (excluding VAT and drinks). It has two floors with a large dining area that is well furnished with Asian decor and a summer terrace right in the historical center of Alcalá. Definitely worth a visit.
This place offers a stunning freshly made tapas menu and you should definitely try the vermouth as it is a pleasure. It offers a variety of quality tapas including marinated and grilled prawns and kebabs and all for free, plus mahou beer on tap. It is impossible to miss it in the main square, but don't try eating there after three Cañas as you will need a siesta!
More than 45 types of imported beer can be sampled here. It is near the new courthouse and near the center of Alcalá de Henares. A tapa is very tasty beginning. The interior is quite cozy, with large spaces where you can sit at the table or bar. On the terrace, you can enjoy a quiet street without noises.
