Situated on one of the hills of Cali (the San Antonio), with superb views of the city, it was built in the baroque style, and finished in the year 1747. The whiteness of its facade contrasts with the greenness of the hill. The temple has a rectangular brick façade has a semicircular arch in Moorish style. Inside stands the main altar, also built in a baroque style, with images of the colonial era, highlighting a patron of the temple, San Antonio de Padua.
Zoos in Cali
Cali Zoo
This is a great place where you can see all sorts of species of animal - mammals, fish, birds, butterflys and many others. There is also an aquarium. It is a place for the whole family, which I highly recommend. There are also good restaurants. It is easy to get to and entry prices vary, I think that they accept the Coomeva discount card.

Artesanal Loma de la Cruz Park
Cali is the corner where culture meets and and explodes in different ways and crafts our region. It has a panoramic view of the entire city from many different angles, and the weather is cool because it is located on a hill and is safe day and night due to a police department nearby. There are many events and every Friday there are storytellers and concerts.
Rivers in Cali
Alumbrado Navideño de Cali
Illuminating the Cali River is a surprising and strange place called Cali to which one can not but be left speechless. I remember all the people we spoke to that were enlightened and honestly, I did not know what it was, until a taxi driver (incredibly friendly) took us from the mall CHIPICHAPE to the place. From what I I could surmise, it is held every year during the months of December and January. Preparation is hard work (I do not doubt this in the least) and all join the Cali family to explore it and pose for souvenir photos . The bars in the area are full of rejoicing at the extra work that these days bring. You know, if you walk by Cali at end of the year, do not forget to go to this beautiful illuminated.
Lakes in Darién
Calima Lake
Calima Lake is the largest artificial lake in Colombia, located 1480 meters above the sea. This was created as a hydroelectric dam but has become a great place for water sports such as jet skiing and other watersports. The truth is that the site offers beautiful scenery, including rolling hills, hundreds of flowers, and clouds so profound that they seem to touch the ground. Finally, this is a perfect place to go to to relax for a weekend, or to enjoy a campfire with friends. The climate of this place is very nice and reaches around 20 º C, but after nightfall you may need a light jacket. Around Lake Calima there are many resort areas, such as chalets, hotels, and restaurants which offer great service to their guests.

Churches in Cali
Iglesia de la Merced
The church of Our Lady of La Merced is part of the religious complex where the city of Santiago de Cali was founded. As well as the church, you can see the chapel of the Virgin of the Remedies, the St. John Lateran and a colonial convent and religious art museum, which was unfortunately closed when I visited. In 1975, the monastery was declared a national monument by the government of Colombia, and the whole complex is worth visiting as it's extremely well maintained and preserved, which is not very common in the colonial area of the city.
Cities in Buenaventura
A spectacular place in the Colombian Pacific, full of folklore, it is an encounter between the tradition of the shipping industry and the modernity of its port facilities, friendly people with deeply rooted traditions and unsurpassed hospitality, 86 km from Santiago de Cali. It's where my masters course in music with emphasis on composition took place. From time to time I get lost in its green corner full of nature, fresh air and some interesting animals. Also there are some other places that I encounter on a daily basis.
