I really love this place and that's why I keep going back every chance I get to the lake, the reserve, the river, the streams, the animals, etc. It's full on the weekends, but the most pleasant is the breeze, even though it's cold. You should go, you'll really love it. You can sail, swim, hike in the woods, as well as go horseback riding and fishing.
The best Veraguas countryside is found in Calobre. It is cool, pleasant nature and charisma of the people is wonderful. If visiting Chitra Calobre I can recommend hot wells. The northern meadows where you come across the Cordillera community and the famous San Antinio hill, its rivers and views that will make you live in freedom. The community name comes from the name of the first inhabitant of the region. It is very rich in citrus, coffee, beans and vegetables. The fair which is held in March is very popular.
