A beautiful location set among the pyrenees is the small town of Ax les Thermes. At street level, the weary traveler will have the opportunity to experience the sensation of feeling the warmth of the waters. Taking advantage of a stay in La Cerdanya, we came to this spot, famous for its hot springs and ski resorts. We took this opportunity to taste a duck in the "Grand Cafe" which is shown in the photograph. Worth a visit, and can be seen in two hours.
The Octel Hotel is located in the beautiful city of Portet - sur - Garonne, in the French province of Midi - Pyrénées. Located in the heart of the largest commercial and financial area of southeastern Toulouse. It has easy access to Blagnac International Airport and the city center. I had a great time here.
The Campanile Toulouse Sesquieres is a small hotel in the outskirts of Toulouse that's especially good if you need to be close to the airport, which is only 5 minutes away by car. The hotel has rooms for one to three people, all with direct access to the street. The rooms are small but modern and all the amenities like television, air conditioning and shower worked great. The hotel also has free WIFI. They have a breakfast buffet for €4.90 free for children under 10) and two vending machines. One advantage of this hotel is that the reception is automated so it works 24 hours a day. I guess prices vary, but the average is around 45.00€ per night.
In a very sunny spot throughout the year, and surrounded by small shops, this hotel has a charming location, close to the tram. There's a fountain that looks more like a small pond than anything else. Skaters often come here to enjoy themselves, and on Wednesday there's a small market.
We were skeptical of the Appart'City Toulouse Hippodrome at first - after all, it was cheap and had just 2 stars. In the end, though, it was perfect. It didn't have the Ikea design that so many hotels have nowadays, but the furniture was new and everything was spacious and spotless. After opening the apartment door, the first thing you come across is the kitchen, which is small, but what else would it be? It has a microwave, cupboards with kitchenware, two electric stove rings and a mini fridge. You can isolate the kitchen from the rest of the apartment by closing the door, so the smells stay out.
The double room is simple, with a large bed, two bedside tables, a wardrobe with mirror and a window overlooking the parking lot. Another door led to the spacious bathroom with bath, washbasin, bidet and toilet, enough towels for a week, and an assortment of gels, soaps, shower caps, etc. But the focus was the living room, with a 1.10 m sofa bed, a huge desk and chair, a plasma TV, a couple of closets, a round table with 4 chairs and in another corner a closet with an iron and ironing board, broom, bucket and mop. It was not the most modern but it was great, spotless, everything worked perfectly and we felt at home - what else could you want?

The Hôtel Le Père Léon hotel boasts more than a century of history and reopened in 2012 after an extensive two-year renovation. It is one of the best known hotels in Toulouse, and the brasserie on the ground floor also offers a good selection high quality food. It has free wifi in the 41 rooms, is completely soundproofed, air conditioned, and tastefully decorated with modern furniture, although some of the rooms are somewhat small. The brasserie has a menu prepared by Jean-Marc Boyer, who is a star chef at a Michelin restaurant.
Thankfully we booked this charming Bed and Breakfast. Upon our arrival we saw that the service was excellent. The host couple most friendly, very attentive and also spoke several languages. The room was cute and very romantic. We stayed in room number 3 with a view of the backyard where they serve dinner by candlelight. It was clean and well designed. wifi is available, perhaps I would put tv in the rooms, but that's a personal opinion. I thought I couldn't improve my opinion of this place anymore but that changed when we enjoyed a hearty breakfast with typical products from the area and with all kinds of details all the way to the chocolates. Without a doubt a place I would return in a heartbeat. Mind you, not in the center of Cordes-sur-Ciel but 1 km. approximately in Les Cabannes.
The Hotel Icare boasts a very good location, just across from the Matabiau staton and bus stop, which will take you to the airport. Just 100 m from the metro and near the Canal du Midi. The hotel is welcoming, with great amenities for all travelers.
Considered by the press as one of the "most beautiful small hotels in France", the spectacular Château de Camon is located within the medieval town limits, facing a grim forest. The hotel has witnessed centuries of history. The hotel was originally a Benedictine Abbey before becoming a castle.
Hence its magnificent cloister, the sobriety of its rooms, large stone steps, and frescoed ceilings. The hotel has been masterfully decorated by its owners, who have given warmth without removing its original character. This is an unforgettable place where you can spend a super romantic few days in complete relaxation and luxury, in one of the most beautiful villages in Cathar Country.
Nestled in the beautiful village of Laas, in the heart of the idyllic region of Béarn and near Sauveterre-de-Béarn, this typical 'auberge' is absolutely delicious. Run by the owners Suzy and Jean-Luc, the charming little hotel has only five rooms decorated in a rustic style. As for his warm restaurant, cooked by the skillful hands of Jean-Luc, it serves excellent home cooked dishes based on the traditional cuisine of Béarn. A dream place to relax and enjoy Béarn.
Those who feel attracted by it, to stay awake in a place with so much history, you will enjoy staying in this hotel. The Hotel Abbaye Ecole de Sorèze is in a former Benedictine abbey founded in the 8th century, converted into a school in the year 1682, and a century later, into a military academy, a role it kept until the year 1991. Today it belongs to the group "Les Hotels France Patrimonie" who managed the museum that have made those wings of the structure where former students lived and studied. Regarding the hotel, it is rated as a 2 and 3 * but I never would have thought that I had less than 3*. It is true that the rooms are spare and there are no frills, but a good hotel that also has a small warm water indoor pool, and a really nice restaurant (from my point of view, the restaurant category exceeds the other hotel services together). In short, the Hotel Abbaye Ecole de Sorèze is a good place to start our journey through the Tarn, and even if not to stay in it, I recommend spending at least one afternoon on a visit to the museum. It is really interesting to explore the ancient study halls, students cells, and learn all the intricacies of this place that is not without its legends.
Deltour Hôtel Millau is a wonderful place in the beautiful town of Millau in the French province of Midi-Pyrénées. It is certainly the best hotel of the whole city and is very well-maintained. The staff is very attentive and efficient. In short, you're sure to have a wonderful stay.
Full of romance, elegant architecture. It is inviting. It offers a variety of services among which are its spacious rooms that feature amenities to suit every taste. It also has facilities for business travelers consisting of WiFi and rooms suitable for meetings of all kinds.
The Hotel Logis de France Le Relais de Fusies is a wonderful place to stay at in the city of Lacaune, in the French province of Midi - Pyrénées.
It offers wifi internet access throughout the hotel, free of charge. In terms of meals, the breakfast buffet is not included in the room rate.
After dinner and an overnight stay with breakfast at the hostel Gypaete, we headed to the circus of Gavarnie, probably one of the most beautiful places in the Pyreness. It is at the North Face of the Ordesa Valley, on the French side, (naturally). An ideal place for mountain climbing or even just taking a leisurely stroll around the area.

This hotel is owned by the family of St. Bernadette Soubirous (to whom the Virgin appeared in Lourdes). It is a beautiful building located near the Sanctuary of Lourdes. Its location is spectacular, and everything around it is quaint. Worth a visit, even if just to have a coffee and get some energy back before continuing your pilgrimage.
