Situated in the heart of Milan, this hotel is a real gem. The garden of 4,000 square meters, is one of the main attractions. The building was once a convent that was bombed during World War II. It has now been rebuilt as a hotel. It has 58 rooms, a spa, swimming pool, treatment room ... The special suite features a unique hot stone, lounge, and bar. A very good option if you want to visit Bergamo and the surrounding area. The apartment is very nice and has everything you need for a holiday. The owners are very friendly and attentive. The pictures on the website reflect the reality of what you will find. It is situated in the lower part of Bergamo. It is situated in good area to rest and sleep and is walking distance to the center of Bergamo. You can also get there taking the bus into the center or to other bus stops and train stations. Also nearby you can find two large supermarkets, Auchan and Esselunga. In the area you will find LE CAFE MIGNON (Via Giovanni Battista Moroni, 183) a cafe where you can have breakfast.
Our hotel in Milan wasn't really a big deal - cheap, off centre but with good transport (bus and metro). There wasn't much room for suitcases and no room service, but the room did offer a terrace with great views of the streets of Milan. The breakfast is quite normal. But it's worth it, with a bakery next door, the metro around the corner, and cheap rates.
The Uptown Palace is a very nice luxury hotel located in the south of Milan. In fact, I'd say that its location is its main selling point. It's situated in a very quiet residential area but is till only a ten minute walk from the cathedral, many shops, and the historic city center. The hotel has large, beautiful rooms (the smallest is a suite with a separate living room). The rooms are all soundproofed and come with bathrooms straight out of your wildest dreams! Finally, the breakfast. It's served buffet style and is superb (meats and local cheeses, fresh fruit, pastries, etc...).
An interesting, affordable option if you're looking for somewhere to stay in Milan. It's close to the subway, which will take you to the city centre in five minutes. It has free wifi, parking, and a restaurant. It's nice to walk downtown because you can appreciate the lively shopping streets, and discover churches and buildings off the tourist trail. The receptionists will offer you some very good advice about what to see and do in the city.
This hostel near Porta Romana is a very good alternative for staying in Milan. Many students use it as a place to sleep while looking for a longer-term rental in the city. Two beds in a room of 8 people are € 25 per person. In addition, the hostel has foosball, arcade games, and other common areas to hang out.
It is a 4-star hotel with all the amenities. The reception is really friendly: they serve you well, and help you in whatever way they can. It's close to the airport of Orio Serio, and there's easy transport to get there, either by the city bus line 1, or € 16 for a taxi you can order at the hotel. Its location relative to the center of Bergamo is not the best, but you can take different buses that will get you downtown. From there it's best to use the funicular railway up to the Città Alta, what truly beautiful city. The breakfast service is also good, although beware if you arrive at 10am on the dot - that's when they close the kitchen!

Located a few kilometres from the city centre of Como, near the pier of Tavernola (where you can catch boats for Tremezzo, Mennagio and other towns on the lake), the Grand Hotel is a beautiful property. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, with marble bathrooms. The hotel is very quiet, making it ideal to rest and relax. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with delicious local meats and cheeses.
The Hotel Albert is located near the Central Station of Milan, with 2 metro stops nearby and various bus and tram stops, too. there are plenty of restaurants nearby. It's a three-star hotel, but if it weren't for the breakfast buffet, it would seem more like a guesthouse. The rooms are quite small. In fact, if you open the closet door, you won't be able to get into the bathroom. The mattresses need to be changed, as they aren't very comfortable. There was a flatscreen TV of about 26", with some channels in English. Regarding the bathroom, a facelift wouldn't hurt. The gel and shampoo were changed every day, but the quality was terrible, really watery.
The room had a small balcony overlooking the main street with heavy traffic. Near the reception there was a computer available for free internet use - a nice touch. We had the breakfast buffet, which wasn't bad. There were plenty of homemade cakes, croissants filled with jam, rolls, butter and jam, cereals, cold meats and cheese, fruit and yogurts. Hot drinks were served at the table. The service was good: they provided us with maps of the city, and showed us how to get to some of the tourist hotspots. The only thing I found a bit odd was that the first day the receptionist asked us for our ID cards, and kept them afternoon, because he said he needed them (I guess to make a photocopy), so we had to go sightseeing without them. The hotel worked out quite cheap, so overall we were satisfied, but the room needed a makeover.
I just want to share my great experience at this hotel. The staff were attentive and charming. The spa area was excellent and very quiet with great massages. Comfortable rooms. A great location for a few days in the countryside. There is a nearby pizzeria that is recommended by the hotel and was really lovely. The rooms are large, with a beautiful mountain view, very clean and cozy with an excellent bathroom which is elegant and spotless. Highly, highly recommended! Very good value for money! Everything was perfect, I have nothing bad to say about this wonderful hotel. It is a good starting point for various excursions like visiting Bergamo, Milan or Issola Lake.
A great hotel with very friendly staff. It is 10 minutes from the bus station and 15 minutes from Malpensa airport. The rooms don´t have any extra frills but they´re clean and comfortable. Perfect for backpackers.
