For those of us who love Asia, you no longer have to travel quite as far to enjoy the best the continent has to offer. This fantastic hotel belongs to the Barceló hotel chain and we were attracted by its architecture, quality, attention to detail, service, and relaxing, luxurious atmosphere. They didn’t miss a thing. My fondest memories are of the pool, the large, peaceful gardens, and the Thai center.
The hotel gets a 10 in my book, and I’d recommend that everyone spends one unforgettable weekend there.
Arriving at this hotel is an interesting trip and, at its exceptional height, it offers some unbeatable views of the beaches and Mediterranean sea.
The Gran Hotel Bali has two restaurants with great views and splendid buffets. It also has 5 bars and a café whose inviting light and views beckon you to bask in its Mediterranean essence.
Its location of the AC Hotel Alicante isn't perfect. It's a little outside the center and in a bit of a dodgy neighborhood. It's part of a chain, so there are no surprises with the decor. Hearty breakfast and a small pool to cool off in good weather.
Excellent!!!!!! 100% recommended.
The thing we liked about this hotel is that it was built in the thirteenth century and the way they've restored it is amazing, besides the views are excellent and the treatment and cleanliness too.
Hotel seaside inn located in Denia, facing the Mediterranean Sea, XIII century building, offers accommodation, seasonal promotions, hotel in Denia, Denia port.
This elegant 4-star hotel in the fishing village of Calpe, overlooking the Mediterranean, is ideal for the golden beaches of the Costa Blanca. Its interior design, is stylish and spacious complemented with a variety of services. There, guests Enjoy an exquisite restaurant, spa, fitness center and stunning views of the Rock of Ifach. You can spend a lovely day in the sun at the pool which overlooks the sea. Calpe is a town with a rich history and culture. It has 2 beautiful sandy beaches with blue flag and a marina near the old fishing port. One of the beaches is right next to the hotel.
A few months ago I went to the wedding of a co-worker and we were surprised when we saw that the invitation said it was in Denia, in a small hotel near the beach, the couple booked us a room to spend the weekend, every one that attended the wedding loved it. So I would like to share this little hotel on the Costa Blanca with you.
I love the personal treatment that they give you from the start, the trust they put in the guests, and the way you can explore the premises and find an innumerable amount of romantic nooks and crannies. The price is perfectly appropriate with what they offer and I’d even go as far as to call it cheap! It’s a special place with a unique charm in the Alicante mountains. I’ll definitely do it again!
In L'Alfàs del Pi, on top of the hill, away from the madding crowd and with the best views of the entire area stands this curious place. Considered a wellness clinic, it is also a hotel, or much more than that.
It has a peculiar history: its owner, an Argentine businessman, says that after many years being ill with an unknown ailment that no one knew how to diagnose, he began treating himself with a macrobiotic diet and the results were so satisfactory that he healed completely. After that revelation, it was clear to him and he founded what has become one of the most prestigious clinics of its kind worldwide. It is a place real luxury in which the important thing is to come out refreshed after a healing based on rest, macrobiotics and peace. The facilities are scandalous, like the views there are at the top of the terrace, where the pool can be found.
Beware, not a place accessible to all budgets. That is what luxury is. But for those who can afford it, that they know it is a sure-fire hit.
I’d suggest this little hotel in “Valle del Juguete” for families with small children looking for a comfy place to stay. It’s decorated with giant Playmobile figures and has game rooms all over the place and a design which means you don’t have to always worry if something will fall or break. The staff is very nice, patient, and helpful. The food is good, too. I’ll definitely return.
This is a precious resort and not your typical hotel. It’s on top of a mountain and made up of little houses with gardens and fountains. It has a restaurant, café, heated pool, and spa. The rooms are very complete and they’re equipped to the last detail (things like a razor and shaving cream, slippers, etc.). The breakfast is wonderful and you really notice the quality in everything. The service staff is phenomenal.
These apartments have an advantage which makes them almost unbeatable and that’s the immense view of the Mediterranean from the cliff top where they’re located. It’s almost overwhelming.
The apartments are modern and comfy and have great facilities: everything from restaurants to pools, mini-golf, and a spa.
I’d suggest getting up early one day to see the sunrise from your balcony and treat yourself to an al fresco breakfast on the terrace.
The Castilla Alicante hotel is definitely one of the best hotels that I have stayed in. I last went with my wife, last summer on holiday. It is very close to the beach and both the service and the facilities are very good. The price is excellent, taking into account its location.
This is the first official monumental-hotel in the Valencian Community, and was built in the eighteenth century by a nobleman from Orihuela, whose coat of arms is on the cover. In 2001 its restoration was finished and it opened as a hotel, but it is also used for temporary exhibitions and various events.
This hotel's location is at the foot of Montgo, but on the interior so you can't see the sea from the rooms. The resort full of families and children everywhere, at least in summer. For me the service really isn't worthy of a five star hotel...for example, they don't change your sheets everyday, and there aren't enough toiletries in the bathroom. It's hard to find a hammock in the shade or take a dip in the pool without being hit by a ball thrown by a little child, and the spa isn't in great shape. It's a hotel with a golf course and not much else around, so I was expecting it to be calmer, but as it happens, it's not a great place to go to rest and relax with your partner. The double room with half-board for 100 euros is worth the price if you're staying on a weekday. PS: I do recommend the golf classes offered at the club, starting at $10 for 75 minutes; you can really learn a lot of useful tips about how best to improve your game.
The quality is sensational! The poolside terrace, sense of peace, and service are unbeatable. We arrived at 4pm to eat and thought they wouldn’t serve us, but they did serve us and not only that but the service was incredible!
As a starter, we ate fried marinated fish and caramelized watermelon salad with duck breast and poppy seeds (sensational), and for the main course we had a shrimp paella and a watermelon sorbet with basil as a refreshing dessert. Everything was extraordinary! A sea of sensations! We’ll definitely go again!
This was the second time I stayed in this hotel in Calpe and I found it comfortable, modern, and possessing some of the best views of Calpe and the Mediterranean I’ve ever seen.
The rooms are spacious and air-conditioned and have minibars. I also really liked the breakfast buffet and the peaceful pool area.
Speaking of which, having breakfast with wonderful views of the pool is priceless. It’s very close to the beach and the sea walk and has a lot of restaurants and shops. I still haven’t tried the spa so I guess I’ll have to go back!
Terrible! They advertise it as something special, but it really isn't. The Junior Suite is a small room with a tiny double bed and aTV hanging from the ceiling that's so small you'd be better off watching TV on your phone. Then there's a lounge-kitchen with an old sofa and another small TV. The breakfast is passable, but the dinner buffet is definitely not worth it: 34 euros for two people, with two types of salad, grilled vegetables, dry salmon and tiny pieces of chicken breast. For dessert you can have yogurt or some kind of rice pudding. We wondered if we could request a complaint form, as this was advertised as having four stars. The only thing positive about it is the spa - nothing else is worth visiting here.
This hotel is very convenient, the downside is it is kind of hard to go up to the beach, but at least you can get there in just 7 minutes. Outside the hotel there are towering skyscrapers and the mountains behind Pelada is preservation or natural park and ideal for routes it marches with impressive sea views.
The Gran Sol building that houses the Hotel Tryp Gran Sol is one of the most imposing buildings in Alicante and a great symbol of the coastline, due to its height and its spectacular murals. Originally called the Alonso Building, it was the first skyscraper in Alicante, completed in 1968 and with a height of 97 meters. Another of its main features is its excellent location as it is in the heart of the city, near the marina and the historic area. The hotel has 28 floors with a total of 123 rooms. I have never stayed at the hotel, however I have eaten a few times in its panoramic restaurant on the 26th floor. The views are simply spectacular.
